We are back from our honeymoon in Kauai - a little tired and more than a little sunburned! But we had a wonderful time!

Kevin Colangelo was a complete blast to have at my wedding, I had a smaller wedding ~100 people and the age ranges varied impeccably, Kevin Colangelo was able to have everybody up and dancing the entire night! Everyone after the wedding said that they had the best time they had ever had at a wedding reception. The DJ even knew that when one of my husbands friends who caught the garter was a little too much for my 18 year old cousin without saying a word or missing a beat he reversed it so that my cousin put the garter on him for the evening, it went well and I couldn't have been more pleased. I highly recommend Kevin Colangelo premier dj's I couldn't have wanted anything more on the most important day of my life...

Kevin did a fantastic job. He and his assistant were very in tune to what we wanted played and how we wanted the reception MC'd. In my opinion the DJ is who often will make or break a reception. We interviewed many candidates (over the phone as we planned the wedding from out of state) and felt that Kevin was the most receptive to our needs.

Let me just say that Kevin Colangelo was the best DJ I have ever seen. I have been to plenty of weddings and other events that had DJ's, and never have I made or heard a comment about how good the DJ was. At my wedding, I had at least 20 people come up to me and ask where I found him, and how amazing he was. While the service cost more than the other DJ services I checked out, it was well worth the money and Kevin was excellent to work with.
Kevin was very professional and is extremely knowledgeable about weddings. He had numerous suggestions to make our wedding better and we used many of them. Most DJs show up and play. Kevin helped us get the most out of our wedding. He showed up 5 hours before the reception to set up and has extremely high quality equipment.
Kevin was wonderful to work with during the wedding, he played everything that was requested and had a great surprise song for the finale.
I would highly recommend Kevin Colangelo DJs for your next event.

Kevin Colangelo's services are outstanding. First, Kevin himself is professional and responsive throughout the planning process and during the reception. His song selection and elegant service kept people on the dance floor all night. And he stayed an extra hour because everyone wanted more. His equipment is sharp. The music is clear and undistorted. His lighting spotlighted several things throughout the evening. The scene he set for our first dance was perfect. The wedding was three weeks ago and we continually receive complements on our DJ. You must consider Kevin the DJ and MC your event. Ohh, he cares very much to do an outstanding job. Our wedding was in the mountains of Colorado. We had several feet of snow and ice. His son broke the ice and shoveled it from the deck for our grand entrance into the reception site. The reception would not have been as smooth with anyone else.

Kevin was a complete professional from start to finish. He worked diligently to make our wedding a complete success. Kevin spent several hours gathering information on what we wanted for our wedding - and also gave us plenty of ideas for music and activity's we could use during our event. Kevin called us the week prior to our wedding to review everything from the names of the wedding party, the flow of the wedding, song selections and so on.
When it came to the event itself- Kevin arrived a day in advance and was at the venue in the early afternoon setting up. He working hand in hand with the staff at the venue to make sure everyone was on the same page. During the event- Kevin came to us a few times to ensure we were satisfied, and if there was anything in particular we wanted to hear- or anything he could do. His equipment was great- sound was awesome and lighting effects really added to the show! Song selections were great- and we liked ability to select songs in advance thru his website-
We would highly recommend Kevin to anyone- he takes great pride in his job, and really works hard to make his clients wedding day the best it can be!

Awesome!!! We never met until the day of the wedding and that was all we needed. We talked a few times on the phone and everything else was through his website. EASY, FAST and PROFESSIONAL!!!!!! This was the 1 job I had, and it HAD to be perfect. It was. I still have people going out of there way to call or email me and tell me it was the best wedding there have ever been to. There are only a few thing people remember. The food, the weather and the DJ. ALL WERE PERFECT!!!! I would only tell people 1 person that is a must for there wedding. KEVIN COLANGELO!!!!!!!

Kevin Colangelo Premiere Disc Jockeys did an outstanding job for my wedding! They were prepared, helped me plan the flow of the evening and all the music. Their website was a great tool, I was even able to give my family a password so they could request music in advance. I booked our limo and photographer at Kevin's recommendation and was thrilled. Kevin really know the wedding business and does amazing job. The reception was so much fun, they made sure everything happened when it was supposed to and kept all of my guests needs in mind. I had dozens of compliments on the music selection, it seemed like everyone- young and old- got to hear their favorite songs. I would reccommend anyone entrust Kevin Colangelo with their big day!

Kevin was the disc jockey for our wedding and he was EXCELLENT! I have been to several weddings with the DJ's were loud and obnoxious! Kevin had a beautiful presentation and was warm and inviting with all our guests. He made our wedding reception so much fun! He was great when I first met with him, and EXCEPTIONAL on September 29, 2007! He even called me when we returned from the honeymoon to see how we were doing! :)

Very professional, Kevin and his DJ group will work with you anyway they can to provide an event that you will find it hard to forget. Kevin stays in contact with you, and follows up on all his DJ's. Kevin is the most personable DJ that I have ever seen at a wedding. Kevin doesn't just stand behind a music stand looking important, he get gets out among people and speaks to them on a personable level. His introductions feel real and warm and throughout the night he motivates people to join in the events. He is the only DJ that has been active and involved enough to actually make it into my pictures - which is saying a lot. It's very hard to review such a soft skill as a DJ handling an event, but Kevin's Voice, personality and ENORMOUS EXPERIENCE help him pleasantly blend into an event and successfully manage it without drawing undue attention to himself. However the technical side is very easy to review - Kevin helps accent the even with LIGHTING and sound. From my perspective the extra attention to the ambience of the wedding lighting is worth whatever Kevin charges!! Kevin's lighting further cement's his reputation as the best DJ I know.

I have worked with Kevin for several years and find him to be dependable, reliable, and a performer who delivers on all of his promises. We absolutely loved working with Kevin and Jason (our wedding DJ). They had us from the first phone conversation and we were not disappointed on our wedding day. Jason was the best DJ I have ever seen. He was professional, entertaining and willing to do anything we wanted. It was easy to see that Jason was very experienced as a DJ. He only played music that was fitting for the people at our reception, and that was very important to us. We would highly recommend this company for any event.

The music was really important to Jeff and I, and we did not want the cheesy songs and silly props that most djs do so we met with Kevin and we LOVED him - on the day of the reception Kevin arrived 3 hours prior to set up and coordinate with the caterer.
throughout the reception we kept receiving compliments about Kevin and how professional he was and where did we find him especially with the English accent.
Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for anything more - Kevin truly exceeded our expectations and really coordinated everything at the reception and made me think I was crazy for thinking about doing music with my Ipod for a reception after receiving advice from another bride who was going to do it - and we recently attended a wedding where they did their own music and it was terrible - thank goodness we did not fall into that trap.

Outstanding service!! Very professional, knowledgable and flexible. A touch higher priced than the competition, but worth every penny. My only advice would be to talk openly with your master of ceremonies ... they in turn will get the overall feel for your wishes. Your master of ceremonies can make or break the reception. Kevin Colangelo's crew is the best I've seen at any wedding.

(my husbands family) as well as Renaissance and Medieval Music mixed with standards, Greek folk music and dance music... and made it flow.. not sure how.. Also his accent added to the ambiance of the whole occasion.. Only comment to him... Less rings.. a lot of people asked us what that was about.. and i cant say i am sure.. he had a Liberace type ring complex...

He took many steps to assure that the music for our dinner and reception was just what we wanted. Kevin Colangelo did a great job! It took a little work to arrange a meeting with them at the venue (it was a scheduling issue with the venue and their availability) but we were able to schedule it about 3 weeks before the date. The venue was giving us a hard time and my fiancée started to cry. Kevin Colangelo was very supportive and was able to work with the venue to work out the issues and calm us both down. On the day, they required no supervision... they arrived and set up with no one checking on them - very reliable! We had an anniversary dance with an extra bouquet as the reward for the couple married the longest but the extra bouquet was never delivered by the florist so Kevin Colangelo's guys quickly put together a bouquet from other arrangements and saved the day. They were very courteous and very professional to us, guests, parents, etc. They made great suggestions and customized the event to our tastes and preferences. They claim to be a "premium" dj service and THEY ARE!!! For only $100-200 more than the "regulars" it was well worth it for the attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism that Kevin Colangelo gave us every step of the way. Really - for an extra couple of bucks - why wouldn't you. We had several friends get married the same summer we did and their DJ's were all the "low bidder regulars" and we felt that we had the best and most professional DJs then anyone else - and several of our guests who attended the other weddings felt the same way...why send your guests home thinking how great your wedding was except for...the music/the obnoxious dj/ the poor sound system, etc. Trust us- Kevin Colangelo and his staff will come through for you!

Kevin, not just his company, were to the UTMOST in professionalism. I had a VERY complex and difficult wedding to accommodate-- an all-day outdoor event that was bilingual. His charm was appreciated, yet he was able to dictate to me what we needed to do to make the day run smoothly without acting or sounding pushy. Living in New York City, we had a huge selection of DJs to choose from. But after finding Kevin on the Web and talking to him, we decided to hire him--all the way from Syracuse.
Kevin is a very personable guy, and that charm and charisma really carries over to his job. He made our wedding feel like a grand event without stealing the show. He also played all of the music we requested and even added a few of his own selections that really enhanced our play list.
Also, Kevin's sound system is top notch and had our guests dancing all night long.
You will not find a more professional, easy to work with DJ around.
